The update today regarding my DIL’s father, Eddie Horstley who has been in the hospital following a heart attack 2 weeks ago.
Today’s Pet scan showed no scar tissue, so he will likely have a triple bypass and valve surgery via open heart surgery this coming Monday.
The doctors don’t want to use stents because the contrast dye used in that procedure would impact his already poor kidney function leading to long term dialysis and future heart attacks.
