Prayers to be Lifted Up

On the first night of our vacation in the rental unit we were staying at in Myrtle Beach my husband (77 years old) stepped into the tub to take a shower. When he turned the shower on, the tub was very slippery and he fell sideways out of the tub and hit his head and right hip on the tile floor. We went to the ER and he has a tiny fracture on one of the small bones attached to his hip. Please pray that it is just a tiny fracture and will heal on its own and no surgery.

I am now asking for prayers for both my children to live the way God directs us according to the Bible. They go to church but do not live Christ like. Please pray for my good friend, Tom, who received the diagnoses of blood cancer. It is in the early stages, so treatment will help a lot. He told me there is no cure but God can do anything. Pray for healing if it be God’s will. Pray for his wife Sally, for comfort and patience. MOST of all pray for salvation. They are both Catholic.

Please continue to pray for my preschool. We are having staffing challenges and need to hire two more teachers. Because of this I am covering a second class. It is very tiring. Pray for strength for me to get through this school year and for God to prepare and send us the right people for the job. I know He is faithful and will send the right people. It is tiring but I love the kids so much and I’m fully leaning on Him for strength.

Pray for my husband D who hurt his back and is in pain. We believe that God is the great physician that can bring healing, pray for His grace and mercy. Pray that D will yield and submit to God, that the Drs will know what’s wrong with him and he able to treat him properly.

Update on my SIL Chris who had a stroke a week ago. They have started PT and OT and are working to get her into a rehab center. She has been up and walking, can write her name but can’t read, dress herself and do personal hygiene. She has good days, but then she has bad days when she is very emotional and angry. A long road ahead, but Chris says she wants to get better. Thank you for your prayers – please don’t stop!

My car was totaled in an accident on Sept 1st. No one was injured. I have great faith that good will come of it, but please pray for strength and clarity in dealing with State Farm Insurance for the settlement. Then for the replacement car that He has for me. New is out of the question financially but a used car or possibly lease one. Thank you.
